PARENT INTEREST MEETINGS
Whether you've never heard of French immersion or you're already convinced that it's a perfect fit, our parent interest meetings can help guide you to make the best decision for your child.
When attending one of our many interest meetings, you'll learn how your child could benefit from an education in French immersion, plus members of the AFS team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
Immersion is not just for high-performing students. Children with a wide range of backgrounds and abilities can benefit from the immersion experience. The key to success is the child’s motivation, attitude and interest, as well as parental support.
Immersion has proven to promote:
• High Academic Achievement
• High levels of bilingualism and biliteracy
• Multiculturalism and Interculturalism
Our meetings will discuss: the benefits of immersion, a typical day in an immersion school, the mission and vision of AFS, our facilities plan, transportation, and more!
All interested parents are encouraged to attend one of our meetings.
